A key component of our pool is our reduced lessor liability and included maintenance program. Versus our competitors who often lease equipment in need of repair and slow drayage efficiency, our Hampton Roads Chassis Pool eliminates the dispatching of drivers to chassis roadability facilities and the resulting detention of valuable time while overseeing maintenance.
IEL includes ALL maintenance and "normal wear" costs into the rate for daily equipment lease. Such items as tires, lights, and mudflaps, etc are covered. Through our program, carriers will not incur liability or back-billed invoices if equipment is returned in need of repair. Note: Only if chassis incurred extreme damage through gross negligence with there be liability.
For large-scale leases, IEL offers a structured rate reduction based on quantity and term of lease. For operations requiring large numbers of chassis placed in logistics facilities or carrier terminals, IEL will dispatch a dedicated mobile repair truck and team of technicians to provide real-time maintenance to any off site location. This eliminates additional drays to our facility and vastly improves equipment roadability and turn-over efficiency. Our dedicated mobile repair services are provided at NO cost to lessors meeting volume agreements.
